30th Anniversary of the
Territory Freshwater Fly Fishing Open
2022
Each year the Darwin Flyrodders hosts the Territory Freshwater Flyfishing Open held on the iconic Corroboree Billabong which has over 50 kilometers of navigable waters.
The premier species targeted are Barramundi and Saratoga, with others such as Tarpon, Sleepy Cod, Longtoms, Catfish also eligible for points for length. The premier species earn double points.
Our base for the Competition is the Corroboree Park Tavern on the Arnhem Highway which is only a 15 minute drive to the launching ramp.
Meals and presentations are provided by the Club, as well as great prizes and a competition shirt.
A bacon egg roll and coffee is provided each morning along with dinner on Saturday night and finger food at the final presentation. Meals can be ordered at all other times. Fishing lunch packs can be organised for competitors but must be done the night before at the tavern.
Accommodation available includes the nurses quarters, demountables or camping. To ensure your accommodation if you want an air-conditioned room or demountable please contact Corroboree Park Tavern on 08 8978 8920 and let them know you are fishing the Comp.

- $250 per angler Early Bird Special Prices valid until 19 March 2022
- $270 per angler Angler Entry Registrations Close 23 April 2022
REFUND POLICY
The angler is entitled to a full refund of fees paid, less $20 administration fee.
An application for a refund must be submitted in writing to the Darwin Flyrodders Club Inc. no later than 5.00pm five (5) days prior to the commencement of the event to be eligible for a refund of any nature.
Refund applications received after this time will be denied.
The angler accepts that should any fees arise by their financial institution as a result of a dishonoured payment on a cheque or credit card debit, the angler will be responsible for any such fees and will be ineligible to participate until such time as those fees are paid.
